Tent Camping Cabins and Condos RV Sites
With the high price of gas finding camping in San Diego is more important than ever. Lake Cuyamaca has added more tent camping sites and a group campground for RV camping. It is no longer hard to find a place for camping and fishing in San Diego. Lake Cuyamaca also has mountain cabins, condos and boat rentals.
The new group camping area is located near one of the prime freshwater 
fishing spots in San Diego. We are now taking reservations for the new RV group camp located in the Over flow area. The area is set up for a total of 8 rigs but has a minimum of 4. The rate is $200.00 a night for all 8 sites. Can be rented by singles if not reserved. !!!! For those of you who have been to Lake Cuyamaca it is at the yellow gates above Lone Pine that you read about in the fishing reports. seven new tent camping sites are also in the same area. These areas are considered primitive with only a group water site, porta potty and you must bring your own BBQ.
Lake Cuyamaca has 3 different spots for recreational vehicle and trailer camping. First is Chamber Park is located at the north end of the lake going towards Julian. This is where the 3 sleeping cabins for rent, one of the tent areas and 2 condos are located.Click here to see picture There are 20 sites for RV’s that have water and electricity. Dump facilities are located at the state park about 3 miles south of the lake. The second is the group RV camping area located in the old overflow area and dry camping is allowed at the south end.
If you are headed to Julian or the Laguna Mountains to go camping it is worth the time to check out Cuyamaca Lake.

Come up and join us at 4600 feet amid the pines, for a fun family getaway. There are not many places in San Diego that you can camp and fish at the same time.We love dogs on a leash and out of the water, they can go in our boats and are welcome in our cabins but, PLEASE, pick up after your dog.
